Laura, Owner and "Maven of Marshmallows" at Hedge Witch Pastry Kitchen. Laura's culinary journey began as a child baking with her grandmother and mother. She honed her culinary skill in local Eugene restaurants while attending Lane Community College's Culinary Arts & Baking Program. While making savory food and catering large events at work, baking sweets for friends and family became a hobby at home. It was there that she discovered her passion for candy-making, particularly for making marshmallows. Fascinated by the endless flavor possibilities, Laura set out to create marshmallows and baked goods that were not only beautiful but also delicious.

The name "Hedge Witch" reflects Laura’s belief in the magic of food and the creativity behind every dish. Through her bakery, Laura has turned her love of candy and baking into a place where whimsy and flavor come together to create a memorable experience.
