My name is Yuko and I am from Japan. I came to the U.S. in 2003 when I married my husband. I love outdoor activities such as skiing, kayaking and biking.
I went to dental tech school in Japan where I learned a technique called “Lost Wax Casting.” This education inspired me to begin creating my jewelry. My jewelry making began as a hobby and was born from my desire to create truly handmade creations. Every piece is uniquely handcrafted from high quality materials.
All of my jewelry is designed and created by me. I am inspired by the beauty of nature, which allows me to design one-of-a-kind creations by hand. My collections are made of sterling silver and gold, and I use gemstones and glass beads to add highlights to my creations. In addition to the lost wax technique, I do stone settings, fabrication, wire wrapping and soldering.
I am the proud artist of Yuko K Designs. I find great joy in not only creating my jewelry, but I also love meeting new people and sharing my art with them.
