Inspired by mythical lore and old world traditions.
I am happiest when I am creating. I like delve into historical books and glean from the ways of the old. Reclaiming timeless art. This is how I discovered chainmaille. It is very rewarding to see the patterns weave themselves together in front of my eyes.
Stainless steel is my preferred metal as it is highly durable, does not tarnish over time and gleams with wear. With never a need to polish.

An intricate process of fusing copper onto another object.
The ability to transform my wildcrafted findings into metal. Making it eternal, or instant fossilization in a sense brings me so much inspiration and depth.
My passion for history and love for the wild and naturalistic world drew me to copper. Being believed to be the first metal to be used by the ancients and with the oldest findings dating back to Neolithic times, along with my love for natures treasures. Gaining the knowledge of electroforming opened new pathways for my talismans.

I learned to knit at a young age. My time at Waldorf helped guide me in tapping into my creative self. As with age I found my curiousity growing on how I could expand outside the norm of traditional knitting materials. Thats when I tried with some of my wire lying abouts and I ended up loving the final look.
Though not something I do often I get a wild hair and much enjoy wielding free form one of a kind knitted wearable art.
I dabble in many mediums, incorporating tid bits from each in my creations. -
