We create a unique appreciation of Jamaican culture for rich, bold, vibrant flavor cuisine where our customers experience the Island's culture that is miles away. A renewed memory for our customers who have visited the Island and a new experience for those customers who have not visited. We take pride to introduce spices and lively flavors cooked in our marinated seasoning.
Irie’s Kitchen creates an authentic variety of Jamaican dishes. It’s food served fast, but definitely, is not fast-food!
Irie Jamaican Kitchen (IJK) is the only authentic Jamaican restaurant (mobile) located in Lane County (to date). IJK is a majority woman-owned; family and locally owned establishment. Irie Jamaican Kitchen opened our “window” on April 1st, 2019. We are creating diversity in our community by introducing the Jamaican culture thru food. In September 2019, Irie Jamaican Kitchen was selected out of nine applicants by the Eugene Saturday Market to join their International Food court for the Saturday Market.
IJK’s line of cuisine include: Jamaican Jerk Chicken, Curry Chicken, Brown Stew Chicken, Curry Goat, Braised Oxtail, Jerk Pork, Rice and Peas (Beans), Callaloo & Ackee (veggie), Jerk Stir-Fried Cabbage, Sweet Ripe Plantains and Jamaican Sorrel Drink. In addition, customers familiar with the Jamaican cuisine have requested special dish such as Stew Peas!
