Barefoot Lazer Tie Dye
My name is Josh Wojcik and I’ve been tie dying under the name Barefoot Lazer Tie Dye since 2011. The name was chosen as an homage to the Barefoot Lazer Commune, a group of friends and family that are now scattered around Washington’s Puget Sound area and beyond. I’m originally from Vashon Island, Washington. Tie dye has taken me up and down the West coast. In 2014-2015 I lived in the Bay Area of California where I had the opportunity to study under the Strebel brothers, the world-renowned tie dye masters behind the company “Jammin On”. During many trips back and forth between Washington and California, I often found myself stopping in Eugene to visit friends. I instantly fell in love with the town and all the beautiful people and places it had to offer. I moved to Eugene in 2016 and this will be my 4th year as a regular vendor at the Saturday Market! I appreciate the vibes, as well as the opportunity to connect with the community and provide dyes to the good people of Eugene. I also sell my tie dyes on Etsy. This website has provided an amazing platform for me to interact with people all over the world. In addition, I also wholesale to shops around the country. I work closely with, “Love on Haight”, a tie dye collective in San Francisco. Please check out my website, I am creating new, one-of-a-kind works of art on a daily basis!
