Muse Woodcraft is a small artisan woodturning shop in Western Oregon. For more than 30 years I have worked in various art media, but when I discovered woodturning 15 years ago I was hooked. I do utilitarian pieces such as bowls and plates, and artistic forms such as hollow vessels and vases. I strive to find the ideal balance between the nature of the wood and the best form to display it.
The wood I use is from the Pacific Northwest, usually within 50 miles from my home, and is salvaged from trees that have been removed due to age, disease or urban growth.
