Celestial Tides - Handcrafted Seascapes
Celestial Tides started in 1998. Each seascape is individually handcrafted by both Judy and Paul out of their studio in Veneta Oregon. "Oceanfront property without the taxes" and "a piece of the ocean in the palm of your hands" are a couple of the phrases Judy & Paul use to describe their artwork which includes seascapes in a variety of sizes and shapes. A very unique gift for any occasion! Each seascape encases a starfish, sand dollar, sea glass, sharks tooth & a variety of seashells. We also do custom orders called "Keepsakes in Glass". For example: ashes of a loved one or pet in a beautiful display of treasures locked into a keepsake that lasts forever. A wedding date or birth date can be etched on a sand dollar to be placed in a seascape to make it even more memorable. There are endless possibilities! Currently Judy & Paul are doing a variety of craft shows both in Oregon and Florida where Judy is originally from and where they reside in the winter months... aka "snowbirds". Everything is loose inside the beveled glass seascapes so they are meant and be picked up & turned to make a different scene every time! "We make 'em you shake 'em" & "Please Touch" are some of the signs posted on their booth.
