Ed Sharp, a master coppersmith, discovered his passion for copper crafting while residing in the Florida Keys during the early 90s. Intrigued by a copper fountain he owned, he delved into research, teaching himself the intricate art of working with copper. His talent garnered attention, leading to features in various newspapers like the Harold Tribune and publications such as Copper in the Arts and American Style magazine. Ed's work has been showcased in galleries, museums, and even in PBS documentaries. A prominent figure in the Towles Court art community in Sarasota, Florida, Ed also owned two galleries. Specializing in custom commissioned pieces, he crafted unique creations like mangrove tables, backsplashes, fountains, and countertops. In 2013, Ed relocated to Oregon to support his daughter during her health challenges and fell in love with the state, now considering it his home. In his semi-retirement, he continues to share his craftsmanship at the Eugene Oregon Saturday Market.
