Julia Garretson is a sustainable artist working in Cheshire, OR. Making useful items from materials reclaimed from the waste stream is a passion. I work in a small studio on my farm to handcraft utilitarian products. Julia has been making paper for 25 years using cotton T-shirts, junk mail, and plants, and trying out other fibers. The papers are then fabricated into cards, light switch plates, stationery, books, lampshades, and packets of paper to inspire your own crafty pursuits. The paper can go through a printer and photocopier, be written on with pen, pencil, market, crayon, and paint, and be folded, cut. and glued! Julia shows at the Eugene Saturday Market, and Holiday Market. website www.JuliaGarretson.etsy.com Thank you for your interest in sustainable craft, Enjoy!
