What a surprise it was to take loose wool, felt it, and transform it into a wonderfully whimsical, magical, adorable, highland cow named Larry who likes tacos. It was just a hobby during chemo in 2021 and blossomed into a form of therapy. Soon my home was filled with felted cows, llamas, pygmy hippos, bats, and hedgehogs. All made with different types of wool, cashmere, camel down, alpaca, angora, and other delectable fibers that are Eco-friendly plus ethnically sourced. I was in love with all my little loafing creations. The next year I decided that it was time for them to be adopted into new families and Woolly Bear Felts was launched.
