I have always been a creative person, drawn to the joy of making things that feel unique and personal. Some of my earliest memories are of art shows with my mother, falling asleep under her booth table, then growing up into the role of helper. Those years taught me not only the value of handmade art, but the community, care, and hard work behind it. In many ways, it was inevitable that I would follow in her footsteps.
I began my creative journey in the 90s designing Christmas ornaments. Over time, my work has evolved, and for the past twelve years I have focused on jewelry. Much of my inspiration comes from the natural beauty of our state. I’m also influenced by vintage jewelry and a boho aesthetic. These influences merge to form my own unique style: earthy yet refined, nostalgic yet fresh. Much of my jewelry is created from materials that have already lived full and varied lives. Recycled metals, vintage tins, natural elements, and gemstones are transformed into something new. I feel as though I am giving them a renewed sense of purpose, allowing their histories to shine through but also telling a beautiful new story. The goal of my work is to bring elegance, whimsy, and joy… because life is too short to wear boring jewelry!
