Over Yonder Woodcrafts has been my small business since 2023, which is also when I first started vending at Saturday Market. After so many years of finding solace in our beautiful Oregon forests, I first started carving wood in 2019, and it quickly became a real passion, a calling. Early on in my carving journey, I began making sensory wood fidgets and soon received feedback that those little thumb nuggets were having a therapeutic effect on the people who bought them from me. It’s been a lot of fun selling them at Saturday Market and seeing the joy that such little wood objects can bring to people.
Driftwood vases have also become a specialty of mine. My tables at the market are filled with dried-flower vases made from unique, one-of-a-kind chunks of old-growth driftwood that I found and collected on the beaches and in the forests of Oregon. I fill each character-rich piece of driftwood with colorful dried flowers that come with the vase with purchase.
All the wood that I use is ethically sourced, and most of it is gathered by me.
I’ll be splitting my time between booth #55 and #46, by the corner of Wizard Way and Spruce, at this Holiday Market this season.
Thanks for your support of Over Yonder Woodcrafts!
