Welcome to our Website! I still say “our” as my Mom and I were in business for 35 years using the Handmade by Mom ‘N Me name. We did shows entirely in Oregon as far North as Salem and Woodburn and East to Sisters and West to Yachats. Many of those shows, like the festival in Sisters, we were the second longest attending of any of the vendors.
Mom passed away in 2013 at 93 having done a show the weekend before. And that was after getting out of the hospital that week at her insistence so she could do the show in the town she came to as a bride, Yachats on the Oregon Coast held at the elementary school where all of us kids went attended.
The first question my brother, who lives out of town asked me when I called to tell him that Mom had passed was “Whats going to happen to Mom and Me?” AT that time I didn’t know. Turns out that I just keep on going like the energizer bunny my Mom always was. I am now fabric driven. Can I ever use all the fabric in my sewing room? The answer is no, because I can’t quit buying it. Oh well…….a lot of joy goes into this business and I’m happiest in my sewing room.
I love to “fussy Cut” every single item I make. When you visit the booth, you will notice that everything has a great presence. That is because of the Careful Cutting. Since I especially love novelty fabric and make it my goal to have something for everyone, you will find a huge variety.
