About Fragments of Fairytales

Our work is green. We salvage logs from fallen trees after storms, let the wood cure for about a year. We then turn hollow form lidded wood vessels, create one of a kind hand carved sculptures, and one-of-a-kind wall panels cut out of wood to create a 3 dimensional work. We make unique one of a kind wooden jewelry with the same techniques as our other work.

We carve each piece by hand, we use dyes to get a water color effect where you can see the wood grain, paint, Swarovski rhinestones, acrylic gold paint. There are no machines or computers used in our work. Everything is made by hand and one of a kind. At least 20 layers of lacquer sanded between each coat.

This is a technique we have created for our work that is distinctly our original media and our distinctive look. Everything we make is done by our 4 hands. Our inspiration is from nature, birds, insects, gardens and magic. Hopefully our work will make you smile then our job is done. We love sharing our vision with each other and the world.

Sending love and blessings, happiness and joy…
