My artwork is all about the exploration of color. I just can not seem to be able to get enough colorI create geometric designs using very simple drafting tools. I have found that these simple designs lend themselves to my ongoing desire to play with color. I also will do abstract drawings to allow me to play with color in an entirely different way. I choose to name my small art business “Crooked Tree Art” because I was impressed and inspired by a song by Molly Tuttle called Crooked Tree witch is on her grammy award winning album of the same name, Crooked Tree. My artwork, like a crooked tree, does not fit easily into any normal category. I like to think my efforts at making art are like that crooked tree, wild and free.
