Hi there! I’m a visual artist creating work to simply spread joy. My illustrative style has been called whimsical and usually makes people laugh. Coined “Marbart” by my peers and past professors, this is my most authentic style of creating. These unique paintings feature things like adorable anthropomorphic animals, or people diving into a pool of beer – all in sort of a surrealist comic style. My realism is anchored in my traditional style of painting from art school. I enjoy studying native wildflowers and trying to capture their elegance, fierceness, and unique physical adaptations we see today.
