Market Board Quick Facts

Up to nine people serve on the board, with seven of those positions held by Market members.
The Board is elected by Market members twice a year for an 18-month term.
The time commitment is about 9-12 hours per month, which includes monthly meetings, executive sessions, correspondence, and various projects.
Additional responsibilities are required for the Chair, Vice-Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, and Notetaker positions.
The board typically meets on the first Wednesday of each month from 5:15 to 7:15 p.m. Remote participation is an option.
Executive sessions, open only to Board members and invited guests, may occur after Board meetings.
You can submit pressing member concerns in writing at least one week before a scheduled board meeting.
