| This month's beautiful booth is Fridays at the Farm. The booth always catches my eye, even as I'm zipping around the Market in too much of a hurry. I think it's the combination of attractive bright colors and silver containers laid out in a neat, orderly display. That and the cheerful smiles of Melanie and Jessica. When I do have a chance to stop and admire, I find I have to look at all the labels. Each one is a sweet old family photograph, giving a nostlagic air to the soaps and lotions. They are also great conversation starters, as Jessica tells me "See her? That's my grandmother..."
They tell me the soaps and lotion bars are equally popular, but the liquid lotions and bath salts are great too. The various scents sound like delicious desserts - pear and cardamom, geranium and avocado, aniseed, black raspberry and apricot oil, vanilla grapefruit and sweet almond buttermilk are just a few. Choosing one is far too difficult, so best settle on a few to take home. Fridays at the Farm doesn't have a reserved booth space, but you can usually find them on the East Park Block near the Food Court. You can always ask for their location at the Info Booth. |
