November 2002 Beautiful Booth of the Month Award:

This month's winner is Eleanor Myers, of Immortal Souls

Eleanor Myers' display is always gorgeous. In the fall it is breathtaking. She spent two and a half hours setting up her display on the last Saturday of October, and it showed. She always uses the simple metal walls woven with white fabric strips as a plain background to hang some pieces and set the stage for her table display. A variety of baskets filled with natural materials put her pieces into the forest setting that they echo, but she doesn't just dump handfulls of twigs and leaves into baskets, she carefully selects materials which match and offset the various colors in the pieces. Eleanor has been an artist since the age of 3, selling her works since she was a teen-ager. She started as a painter, and has been working in ceramics since the early 70s. The faces emerge as she works on a piece, each one with its own distinct personality.

Eleanor sets up her beautiful booth regularly in space 13, near the northwest corner of the Market. She will also be selling at Holiday Market.
